Well it's not really a true gaming blog. I don't think I have the ability for that undertaking. No, I'm thinking this blog would be a better way for me to keep track of my gaming habits. Since I have (and lets be honest) quite a number of games in my collection, and having only played only a small portion of them, I figure it's time for me to start doing this "one game at a time". Basically, i'll be posting what game i'm starting, and try and focus ONLY on that game. Now, what classifies as a "complete" game in my book? Well, trying to get everything in a game or unlock 100% complete is something i'm just not able to, so so long as I get the ending, that's fine with me. Also, especially with RTS games, finishing off one side (if there are 3 sides) classifies as a finish for me, in case I feel I should move on from it. Most cases, I do stick with it and try to finish off all the possible story lines, but if time is a factor (and nowadays it is, I'll have to skip it and move on.
I guess I should point out that I'm not as hardcore as I used to be when it comes to gaming anymore, nor am I an amazing video-game player. If I have to complete it on easy mode, I guess, I have to do that. I have just way too many games which are incomplete. When I get the time, i'll have to actually take the time to take inventory of what games I've amassed, and see what I've finished and what I've yet to complete. That should be fun.
Whenever I do finish a game, I'll post how long it took me, and what my impressions of it were.
First up, Age of Mythology. I had heard good things about it, but only recently purchased it, when the price tag was more appealing to me. This version I have also contains the expansion, so i'll be having some fun with this one, and hopefully I can finish this off (at least the main game) before I head back to the U.S.
